To pass your DELF or DALF diploma, you need to obtain at least 50% as well as a minimum of 5/25 for each test (listening, writing, speaking and reading).

Note that we cannot send diplomas by post. Diploma collection is at Alliance Française Cambridge, 1 Red Cross Lane CB2 0QU. It usually takes 6 months for diplomas to be sent from Paris.

  a valid form of ID (passport, driving licence, national ID card - please note bank / gym / membership / student cards will not be accepted). 
your statement of entry (printed or digital).
 a bottle of water
black or blue pens (no pen will be provided – please note candidates must write in blue or black ink on their exam paper). 
a watch to check the time between each test (remember that your phone will be switched off).

Both diplomas are valid for life and evaluate A1, A2, B1 and B2 French language levels. For example, if you are under 18 and obtain a B1 DELF junior, your language level will be judged the same as an adult sitting the DELF B1. So why do we have two types of DELF instead of one? DELF junior exam topics are adapted to the area of interest of a child or a teenager. For instance, instead of having to talk about your work experience, the topic might revolve around your school and academic life.
Note that if you are more than 16 and are thinking about sitting the DELF Adult  for organisation purposes, that is not a problem.
