“ "All the team at the Alliance Française in Rouen are lovely – very friendly and super-helpful. We were very well looked after,
excellently taught and the social side was great. After each morning’s work we then had a variety of activities, which had all been
carefully planned for us - a lot of thought had gone into organising these and they were all huge fun. My host was great – we didn’t
exchange a word of English for the whole week ! In addition to the lessons and the planned activities, there were of course the daily
exchanges in French eg using public transport, buying things in shops and cafés and speaking in French to other students – the students
during my week were from a range of countries and in many cases French was the only common language we had. The week flew by and by the
end of it I certainly felt immersed ! I strongly recommend the séjour linguistique ! Needless to say, I’m hoping to go again next
year..."
