What happens in our classes?

We run small classes for those aged 11 to 18 following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. These classes are led by native French speakers and professional teachers and are designed to help students who wish to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, including vocabulary and grammar.

These classes provide the opportunity to speak, to improve pronunciation and to practice the conversation needed to achieve higher grades in exams.

Our new academic year starts on Saturday 5th September 2020 and will end on Saturday 17th July 2021. Enrolment is available throughout the year.

For any further details, please contact us, by e-mail at or by phone at 01223 561 854.

As an official exam centre for the DELF, we offer students the significant benefit of teachers who are also qualified and experienced examiners licensed by the examining body, the CIEP (Centre International d’études Pédagogiques).

For all classes, textbooks are not provided and must be purchased by the student. Buy your textbook with our partner European Bookshop and benefit from a 10% discount: Click here!

* The DELF is the official diploma certifying competence in French language, awarded by the French Ministère de l’éducation nationale, de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche (Ministry for Schools, Higher Education and Research). It permits holders whose schooling has been in other countries to study at French universities, among other benefits.
