4 Skills Classes

Description: From Beginners to Proficiency level (A1 level to C2 level)

4 skills: 2.5 hours per week

Our academic year 2019/2020 is organised in 4 terms, 10 weeks per term, from the 9th of September 2019 to the 10th of July 2020.

These classes improve the 4 skills: Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking.
They are an ideal preparation for DELF-DALF Diplomas.

All our classes follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Elementary (A1)

Course: Designed to help complete beginners acquire the basics of the language. At the end of this course you will be able to buy things in shops and restaurants, introduce yourself, describe your family, and talk about choice and preferences.
Next Level: Upper Elementary (A2)

Upper Elementary (A2)

Course: For students who have done Elementary level or who are at GCSE level. You will learn to talk about daily activities, describe past events, and discuss projects.
Next Level: Intermediate (B1)

Course: You will learn how to talk about daily tasks, and to discuss issues such as the media, work, and the environment.

Course: You will learn how to discuss current affairs, argue about different topics and express feelings and emotions.

Culture and Civilisation: 2 hours per week

Our academic year 2019/2020 is organised in 4 terms, 10 weeks per term, from the 9th of September 2019 to the 10th of July 2020.

Advanced (B2 to C1)

Course: This course will help you to increase your knowledge about Francophone cultures, to go beyond stereotypes and to get a better understanding of French contemporary society.
Level: Advanced B2 to C1
Duration: 40 weeks over 4 terms

Day-time: Tuesday morning, 10am – 12pm

Proficiency (B2 to C1)

Course: This course will help you to increase your knowledge about Francophone cultures, to go beyond stereotypes and to get a better understanding of French contemporary society.
Level: Proficiency C1 to C2
Duration: 40 weeks over 4 terms

Day-time: Wednesday morning, 10am – 12pm

CONVERSATION CLASSES

Our conversation classes for Intermediate and Advanced level students feature a mix of grammar revision and discussion and debate of various topics. A friendly atmosphere in which to maintain and develop your vocabulary and a good level of fluency without forgetting your grammar.

1h30 per week.
