The Alliance Française Cambridge is thrilled to announce that it is time to celebrate Bastille Day 2019!
As celebrations are held across France and around the world, it is only right and proper that Cambridge participate in such a memorable event!
Who said that you have to be in France or even have to be French yourself to celebrate Bastille Day? It was an evidence for us to celebrate “le Quatorze Juillet” with locals from Cambridge.
Please join us to celebrate Bastille Day, on Saturday the 14th of July, from 4pm to 7pm.
Price includes: Bubbles & Canapés and a live music performance from Joseph Reynolds.
Joe studied cello, piano and composition at the Royal College of Music as a Tsukanov scholar and recipient of the Wolfson Music Award. Joe read music at Oxford, where he was awarded an academic scholarship. Performing highlights include playing the Saint-Saëns and Dvorak Cello Concertos with orchestra, masterclasses with Natalie Clein and Yo-Yo Ma, and playing in orchestras under Vladimir Ashkenazy and Daniel Harding.
